Are You Ready for Vista?

vista.jpg
Recently, the Guru had the disquieting experience of attending the business launch for Microsoft's new Windows Vista Operating System. The event, held at a large New York hotel, attracted a virtual mob. Sad to say, even the Guru's inimitable status did not save him from having to wait in a block-long line outside in the frigid elements just to get in for the initial presentation.

While complaints, and indeed international protests, would be warranted, the Guru is bigger than that (see "Vista Said to Benefit Insurance Industry" elsewhere in this blog). Instead, we would like to know how you view this new development.

Are you chomping at the bit to get Vista and get it installed today?
Are you waiting until a second version comes out before you dip your toes in those waters?
Are you perfectly happy with XP, or even Windows 2000?
Maybe you'd just as soon dump Windows alltogether.

Whatever your thoughts, post them today!
